Think On These Things:
"The future is in God’s hands, not yours. God will rule it according to your need. But if you seek to forecast it in your own wisdom, you will gain nothing but anxiety and anticipation of inevitable trouble…sometimes what seems evil becomes good if we leave it to God."
– Francois de Fenelon

Disciple Bible Study!
"If you make my word your home you will indeed be my disciple" – John 8:31
Disciple is a program of disciplined Bible study aimed at developing strong Christian leaders. It focuses on the disciple as learner, believer, follower, proclaimer, and servant while providing the fellowship of a small group for study, prayer, and support.
Disciple assumes that the Bible is key to renewal in the church and affirms that the canon of scripture was formed as it is in order for God to speak to us, emphasizing the wholeness of the Bible as the revelation of God.
Disciple requires commitment in terms of preparation, presence, and participation in daily prayer and study as well as the weekly group process. Each disciple participant will covenant with the group to make the 34 week journey together.
Disciple aims at transformation, not just information, and calls on persons to submit themselves to examination by scripture, to put themselves under the power of God’s Word, expecting to be changed through encountering God’s Word.
Disciple I: Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study is a survey course covering the entire Bible, giving equal time to the Old and the New Testaments. Completion of this study gives a solid foundation for your understanding of how God’s Word relates to our lives.
Disciple Bible Study is for everyone, regardless of whether or not you have ever studied the Bible before. Yes, it is a big commitment. Yes, it is worth it!
Disciple Bible Study will meet on Monday nights beginning September 13th. Pastor LuAnn will be the study leader. Sign up today!
