The responsibility statement of Alcoholics Anonymous is: “When anyone, anywhere reaches out for help, I want the hand of AA always to be there and for that I am responsible!” To achieve this goal, the Oxford Early Evening and Seymour Lake Sobriety groups have banded together to make all of their multiple meeting times (shown below) available to anyone in this area who wants help with ending their dependence on alcohol. In addition, the evening meetings on Saturday and Sunday from 6 – 7 p.m. are “Open Meetings.” This means they are open to non-alcoholics as well, so that family members and anyone else who is interested can learn more about AA’s program for treating this disease. These meetings are held in the basement of the church, which is located at the corner of Seymour Lake and S. Sashabaw Roads in Brandon Township, MI. The AA meeting room can be entered directly from the parking lot on the south side of the church.
