FREE FAMILY* FISHING EVENT
Saturday, June 10
11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Looking for something fun and inexpensive to do with your kids or grandkids? Join us for lunch and a little fishing. The DNR has declared Saturday, June 10 a “Free” (no license required) Fishing Day. To celebrate, we’re opening up our lakeside pavilion and dock on Seymour Lake and inviting families from the community to join us any time between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. We’ll be serving hotdogs and chips for lunch and we’ll have poles, life jackets, worms, and boats with captains ready to take the kids out on the lake.
Cost of Admission? -0- (Since the DNR isn’t going to charge you, we won’t either.)
What’s the catch? Well…this will be a “Catch & Release” event. That means the kids will have to put their fish back into the lake after they reel them in. But otherwise, there is no catch. We just want to share what we’ve been blessed with and give back to our community, so all are welcome!
